Building without replacing the Lands Between
Minecraft runs alongside Elden Ring. The bridge brings the Minecraft player, inventory and blocks into Elden Ring's scene, while Elden Ring retains its own characters, interactions and saves. You are choosing a specific integration of the two games, not a Minecraft texture pack or an official expansion.
Why the first world feels different
The listing and the author's README both describe a creative-mode start. The command /gamemode survival switches the Minecraft side to survival so enemy damage can reach you. That is a mode choice inside this mashup, not an instruction to change Elden Ring's normal online play.
Offline means offline
The supported setup is offline single-player. The Melty listing starts this session with Easy Anti-Cheat off; do not treat it as permission to bring mods into competitive or ordinary online sessions. The author flags rough edges around terrain and transitions, so this is a sandbox experiment rather than a replacement for a stable unmodified playthrough.
Limitations and things to know
- No multiplayer claim: the published setup is offline single-player.
- Terrain, lifts and transitions can have rough edges.
- The source-build README and the Melty package use different installation routes.
This is an editorial overview, not a claim of hands-on testing. Listings can change; use the linked Melty page for current access and creator information.
