Start with the games you own
Melty describes its service as a place to find, play and share PC-game mashups and mods. Its terms require legitimate copies of every game a mashup uses, together with the accounts those games need. The mashup and the underlying games are separate: free access to a mod does not grant a game licence.
Use the directory's base-game filter to narrow your choices. SkyCraft pairs Skyrim Special Edition with Minecraft Java Edition; Minecraft Ring pairs Elden Ring with Minecraft Java Edition. Java Edition is a specific product requirement, not a shorthand for every Minecraft edition.

Read the package requirements before installing
A familiar game name is not enough. Compare the edition, platform, runtime or executable version and session restrictions listed for the particular release. Minecraft Ring's page refers to Elden Ring App Version 1.17.1; ER Mario names executable versions 2.7.1.0 and 2.7.1.1. Those labels describe different version layers, so do not substitute one number for another.
The current package page is the place to resolve compatibility. An author repository can describe a source build or manual installation, while the Melty release wraps the project in another launcher. Treat them as separate paths, not one combined checklist.
Open the official listing, then the client
Our View on Melty button takes you to the original mashup page. Melty's terms say its desktop app sets up the dependencies a mashup needs and starts it on your PC. We do not launch games in this website, distribute installers or ask for a Steam, Microsoft or Melty token.
Some packages need a first-time account sign-in. Both SkyCraft and Minecraft Ring describe a Minecraft sign-in during setup. Complete that through the actual launcher, not through an unrelated website claiming to activate the mashup. Keep personal sign-in details and coding-agent tokens private.
Make the first session disposable
SkyCraft's author calls the project experimental and recommends save backups. Minecraft Ring lists terrain and transition rough edges. Choose a session where losing progress is not costly; keep important saves separate before you begin.
Minecraft Ring starts its first bridge world in creative mode. Its documented /gamemode survival command changes the Minecraft side so you can take damage. If a session feels unlike normal Elden Ring, inspect the mashup's mode and controls before assuming the installer has failed.
Do not confuse multiplayer with a shared campaign
SkyCraft shares Minecraft blocks, items, mobs and players. Each participant retains their own Skyrim NPCs and quests. Minecraft Ring's supported setup is offline single-player. A combination of two games does not automatically combine all their networking systems.
