MASHUP PROFILE

Cities: Skylines × Euro Truck Simulator 2

City Trucker

City Trucker lets the city you built become the road network for a driving session. The Zergodom LP-profile listing uses Euro Truck Simulator 2 telemetry and profile bindings to drive one of Cities: Skylines' own cargo trucks. It is not an imported ETS2 map or cab asset: the description says the cab is built from code-generated shapes. Leave your ETS2 truck parked with its engine on for the personal truck details; without ETS2 running, default values are used.

City lanes, not free steering across the map

The description drives a Cities: Skylines cargo truck along the city's own lanes. At junctions the blinker chooses left, right or straight, and cancels after the turn. This is a route through the simulation's road network, not a promise of unrestricted ETS2 driving physics on any surface. It offers a quieter vehicle-focused alternative to Skate Warfare's shooting and optional skating.

What the parked truck contributes

The author lists make, model, gearbox, rpm limit, fuel, engine wear and cargo mass as data read through a plugin based on SCS Software's Telemetry SDK. A trailer appears only when one is hitched in ETS2. Throttle, brake, look, camera and blinker bindings come from the ETS2 profile. The cab is assembled from simple shapes, so telemetry integration should not be confused with shipping the original truck's game files.

A solo city with an achievement trade-off

This listing is for one player. It also warns that the mod disables Steam achievements for the affected city. Consider that before choosing a city whose achievement progression matters. The published preview and author claims show the intended connection, but this directory has not verified input-device compatibility, telemetry synchronization or achievement behavior on a live installation.

Limitations and things to know

  • Solo, one-player release.
  • The listing warns that Steam achievements are disabled for that city.
  • No live ETS2 session means default truck values rather than the parked truck's telemetry.
  • The truck follows city lanes; junction turns are selected by blinkers.
