Stamina changes the portal idea
Sunflower describes stamina as the range budget for portal shots, rather than an unlimited ability to cross the mountain. Momentum survives traversal while PEAK's fall damage still applies on landing, according to the page. The distinction is a climbing remix: portals change a route without erasing movement risk. We have not independently tested the physics.
Different from Portalcraft
Portalcraft lists Minecraft Java and credits Portal as inspiration. PortalPeak explicitly needs PEAK and Portal 2 on Steam, and says it reads gun visuals and sounds from the installed Portal 2 copy. Choose by the games you own and the kind of traversal you want, not the shared Portal label alone.
Group play has a testing caveat
The author describes a separate portal pair for each scout through PEAK's normal invitation or room-code route. The same page says co-op is new and not yet tested with a full group. Every lobby member is listed as needing PortalPeak. Keep the proposed functionality and testing caveat together when judging it for a planned session.
